Detailed Instructions
How to play a course:
Load user created golf courses in the Line Golfer Clubhouse below the game window
- While taking a shot, move your mouse to adjust your shot angle
- Hold the left mouse button to charge your shot, release the left mouse button to hit the ball
How to create a course:
Use the tools at the top while in edit mode to design your course.
When you are finished editing, use the disk icon and follow the onscreen instructions to publish your course to Candystand.com for other people to play and rate. You can also use the folder icon to save the course locally for future editing before publishing to Candystand.com.
Note: You must be registered and logged in to publish courses to Candystand.com!
Use the tools at the top of the drawing area to design your course.
The tools are:
- Free Pen – Draw different types of line surfaces with this tool. While using the pen you have four different options for the type of surfaces you draw.
Grey: Background lines (The ball will pass through these lines)
Light Green: Fairway (Normal ball friction)
Dark Green: Rough (More ball friction)
Yellow: Sand (The ball will stop when touching this line)
- Straight Line Pen – Use this tool to draw straight lines with the different surfaces. The snap feature will help you align points.
- Eraser – Use this tool to erase your lines.
- Zoom – Use this tool to zoom in (select the zoom out option to zoom out)
- Tee – Use this tool to move your tee around the course (this is where the ball will start)
- Pin / Hole – Use this tool to set your pin / hole (be sure to place the bottom of the pin directly on the line)
- Pan – Use this tool to pan the camera
- Play – Use this tool to play and test your current course
- Stop – Use this tool while in play mode to return to the edit mode
- Disk (Publish) – Save or Publish your current course to Candystand.com
- Folder (Open) – Use this tool to open your locally saved courses
- Trash – Use this tool to clear the entire level
How to publish a course:
When publishing a course be sure to:
- Give your course a name
- Set your par
- Validate the course (complete the course in under your set par)
If successful you will be prompted to complete the publishing process
