Detailed Instructions:
Start by creating and customizing your own Pirate. After that, you'll begin your adventure in your very own pirate shack, complete with a few bits of furniture and your first pet. All you'll need are a few Pieces of Eight (Pirate gold!) to expand your house, buy new pets, and get yourself a fine Pirate ship.
Your shack is located on a specific island, your home Island. There are many Islands spread across the Puzzle Pirates Ocean waiting for you to visit them.
Before setting sail, you can practice your Pirate skills with Missions, each of which will teach you have to do a different Pirate job and earn you Pieces of Eight. Once you're ready, you can take your Pirate out on to the Ocean to complete expeditions and go pillaging with other Pirates. That's where you'll get the real booty!
Your home island is always accessible from a map in the top right corner. Clicking there will give you access to a view of the whole island and the shops you can visit. You can select wherever you wish to go and travel their directly.
Each shop sells different items, from cannon balls to Pirate swords to fine swashbuckling hats and gear. Go to the tailor to try on duds, visit the iron monger to see what weapons are for sale.
You can also select the "dock." From there, you'll be able to see all the ships docked at the Island and take a ferry to visit other places on the Ocean. When you're ready to go pillaging with other Pirates, you can select the "Notice Board" and see what other Pirates are up to. The Pirate Captain is always on the look out for a new recruit!
When you're ready to head home, just select "Go home" from the right panel, and you'll be whisked back to your base!
